Mr. Rissik, the Transvaal Minister for National Affairs, speaking at Pretoria, said that the Asiatic question urns a matter of life or death for the Transvaal, since the Asiatics were already one fifteenth of the total population. Registration should be upheld in order to stem a further influx.
