AUCKLAND, Jan. 22. An o'kl woman named Elizabeth Tuffnol, a widow GO years of age, was found dead in her house at Parnell this evening under circumstances pointing to circumstances. She lived alone, and not having been seen for several days her daughter paid a visit to the house to-night, and found the body of the old woman lying in tho passage with her throat cut and a pair of scissors covered in blood lying close by.
