CONDITIONS IN TARANAKI
PROSPERITY AND PLENTY
A Wellingtonian who has just* returned from a visit to Taranaki states that that province is at present “in the pink of condition.” There is plenty of grass, the cattle are fat, and there is abundance of milk. Driving . round Mount Egnioni lie was particularly struck with the number of Alaori suppliers v, bo were carting to the creameries in the district just north of Parihaka.
