The Primitive Methodist Conference this morning was principally engaged in consideration of committee reports, which stated that there were 83 Sunday schools in the Dominion, with 603 teachers and 5442 scholars connected with these; 4349 juveniles and 1747 adults pledged to abstinence; Sunday schools finances were in credit by £3Ol Is 7d. The conference expected to conclude its sessions to-* night. The Dunedin Fire Board purpose purchasing a site from the Harbor Board for an up-to-date brigade station. Tel., 310 P.O. Box 105.
