AUCKLAND, January 15. Tho -steamer Claymore* returned lrom tho ‘‘Three Kings” to-night bringing about £2OO worth of specie’ recovered from the wreck of the Elingamite. Tho party had been away lor thirty one days, but owing to the bad weather could only work about 5 days, during which time tho sum of £OOO was obtained. The present syndicate have abandoned further search, as from tho observation of divers it is impossible to secure any more specie, without blasting the wreck with dynamite. The death of Diver .Clarke is stated by Dr. Forbes of AVanganui— who made a post morten —to have been due to the formation a.ud enlargement of a' clot of blood on the brain.
