THE 1907 GREAT ANNUAL SHOW OF THE NEW SOUTH WALES SHEEP-BREEDERS ASSOCIATION.
A NOTABLE RECORD. So much has boon written in recent years by certain interested Sheep Dip Manufacturers of the number of prizes, etc., etc., won by shoop dippeil in their preparations that Uock-ow-ners may reasonably feel periexed as to tho positions occupied in the estimation of the pastoral community by tho many other brands of sheep dips now on the market. The following facts will therefore bo interesting—viz.: At the sheep show above referred to—tho greatest of its kind in tho world—4s per. cent., .or nearly onehalf ,of tho prize-money awarded was won by Quibell-dipped sheep; LI per cent, was awarded to slieop on which no dip at all had been used, thus leaving tho balance of tho prize-mo-ney—i.e., 41 per cent.—to be divided ui) between the users of all other dips combined —some CO or more in numNew Zealand sheep-breeders will be interested to learn that every piizetaker in the Lincoln sheep section and all the first prize-winners in tho Romney Marsh section at the above show were dipped in this world-re-nowned specific. , The above facts conclusively prove which dip the leading New Zealand and Australian breeders the most up-to-date pastovalists in the world consider the best. Tho figures quoted above have been Messrs Dalgety and Co. (Ltd ). of Sydney, and the standing and reputation of tho firm is the only guarantee that need be offered as to their accuracy. “Follow the men who have made a success in life, for to imitate those who have failed only means that you will fail likewise.”
