TUESDAY, JANUARY 14. (Before Mr W. A. Barton., S.M.) Obscene Language.—Adam Knox appeared on a charge of having used obscene language in Lowe street on Saturday last. —Accused pleaded guilty and elected to be dealt with summarily.—Mr Bright, who appeared for informant, said the language had been used outside the Horse Bazaar in Lowe street in tlio hearing of a large crowd.—The S. M. said the language was of a particularly disgusting character. Accused would be fined £3. with costs £3 11s Od, in default 7 days’ imprisonment.
