DRINK PERFUME AS INTOXI CANT.
(Special to Times.) WEL L 1 NT ON, Jan. 13. The Cook Islanders have taken to drinking perfumery for the sake of the spirit it contains and regulations are now gazetted stipulating the conditions under which perfumery may he Imported and purchased, and quantities that may bo sold; also the fines for breaches of tlie order.—Evidently Colonel Gudgeon is still keeping a watchful eye upon bis dusky subjects in tropical Raratongii and adjacent islands.
