BODY OF A WOMAN FOUND
SUPPOSED TO BELONG TO SYDNEY. United Press Association —Cop/righf (Received Jan. 9. 10.10 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 9. The police are satisfied that the body of a woman found on October ,10th in Wroxall AYoods, Goring, is that of a Sydney lady who- disappeared in Alav during a state of depression owing to alleged stoppage of her allowance. A relation identified a gold-studded hair comb, and two lady acquaintances identified a silver buckle and the clothes. Death is attributed to an overdose of morphia. A hyperdermic syringe was found oil the body. DECEASED FAILS TO AIAKE A LIVING. TAKES AIORPHIA TO RELIEVE NEURALGIA. RELUCTANT TO LIVE ON CHARITY. (Received Jan. 9, 10.35 p.m.) LONDON, Jail. 9. The “Daily Alail” states that the body found at Goring was that of Airs. Dolly Scott Harden, reported to be the wife of a (Sydney solicitor, A friend of hers says that she tried and failed to earn a living -by the pen or the stage. She took to mOrphii to relieve acute neuralgia. Her friend received a letter from her on Alay 9th, stating: “I intend to-commit- suicide, as I am terribly pressed to-day. 1 am very reluctant to live upon my friends’ charity.”
