Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH. Jan. 8. A young mall' named Robert Firniston was drowned at Awakino to-day. 110 was bathing with his brother, anti is thought to have been seized with cramp. The oilier man endeavored to save him, hut he was twice dragged under and had to relinquish the task, reaching the shore hnnsell in an exhausted shite. lHimstoii was a single man, aged 2o yeais.
