Special to Times. A\ ELLINGTON, January 8. On the Stock Exchange to-day Wellington Woollen Coy’s preference sll »i'es (los paid) -were sold at 14s. Old Hauraki and Alay Queen spares sold at 2s. Tliero is considerable inquiry for insurance company script. Buyers of New Zealand offered £4, South British £5 Ss Gd, Standard El 3s and National £1 6s 6d. There wore sellers of Gear Meat (both descriptions) at £lO 12s 6d and £2 10s, whilst Wellington Meats were quoted at £3 os Gd, sellers, ox dividend. The Talisman figures were £2 11s 6d and £2 12s 6d, and Waihi £8 3s and £8 os Gd.
