Lady Crispin passed tho post first after leading all the way, but was disqualified for running inside tho flags, and the race was awarded to Mura Alii, who finished second.

Acland Hood Handicap, of 35 sovs, second horse 5 sovs, If miles.—Melton Hall 1, Reservoir 2, Sarilla. 3. Also ran: Hiki and Nestorean. Iteay got left at the Dost and took no part in the race. There was a long delay ■at, the post, and .Melton Hall getting the best of a bad start led throughout, and just managed to withstand the challenge of Reservoir, who ran a great race, and finisher! strongly in second place. Hiki came right through the field in the straight, but failed to reach tho chestnut, who won by half a length. No times were taken in several of the races.
