The railway revenue increased by £303,000. Tho sum of £1,996,000 was returned from the Commonwealth, an increase of £510,682. Tlie year’s revenue was £14,013,000, an increase of £899,992. Sydney bank clearings for the year totalled £234,170,000, an increase of £13,390.000. MELBOURNE, Jan. 1.

The Federal Customs n»id excise revenue for the half-year is £6,110,6-57. The State revenue for the half-year is £4,125,000, an increase of £369,348. The bank clearings for the year were *236,500,000, an increase of £15,600,000.

ADELAIDE, Jan. 1. The revenue for the half-year was £1,670.263, an increase of £356,400.
