DROWNING FATALITY
Press Association. NAPIER, Dec. 30., A drowning fatality occurrod hero this evening. A man named Arthur Sutton, who is n storekeeper at Oncpoto Gully, was bathing m tlio river near the end of Carlylo-stroot, accompanied by one of .Ills sons and two men named Chaplin and Aloore. Alter bathing for some tune button got out of his depth. Tho others went to his assistance, but being all 1111nblo to swim wore unablo to snvo him. An alarm was given, and the body was l'ocovercil sonic nnlf-nour latoi, but life was extinct. Deceased leaves a widow and four children.
