TOTHILL, ESQ., TITIROA, N.Z. ;utton p s Orimssii ling H sl For feeding before midwinter this Swede is simply invaluable. So rapid is the growth that seed can be sown later than is safe with any other variety excepting our Purple-top Stubble. The immense roots are highly nutritious, of handsome tankard form, with a rich purple colour. Sutton’s Crimson King has achieved marked success in competition for acreage prizes and pulled roots. FROM CUSTQIHERS IN NEW ZEALAND. “ For many years I have used Sutton’s Seeds at Edcndnle I and have always found them excellent, fhey are clean, of high germinating power, and true to name. I have every confidence in recommending them. Sutton’s Crimson Xing is the best Suede I have ever grown, and amongst dairy farmers especially the iool crops are of such importance that they should only sow the best they can get.”—Eonald MACDONALD, Esq., Ectendule Estate, A.Z. •'I always use Sutton’s'Seeds, and they give me the greatest satisfaction. Last year I had 2,000 sheep on 14 acres of Crimson King Swede for two mouths. This speaks for itself. They grew well out of the ground, and I believe my crop acted as splendid . advertisement for your seeds. The crop was on the hill, about too feet above sea-level.” Allan Boyd, Esq., Lovclis ilat, Balclutha, N.Z. “ We sowed Sutton’s Crimson King last year and found it to .be a very fine Swede and a good cropper.”—J. D. Siiand. Esq., Centre Bush, N.Z. “ I have much pleasure in expressing my satisfaction at a crop of Crimson King Swedes grown from Sutton’s Seeds obtained ft'o;n your establishment. They surpass anything so far seen in the district. I estimate the crop to be between 50 and 60 tons to the acre. Some of the roots have turned the scale at 3} lbs. each, eight weighing 243 lbs. In my opinion it is the best Swede that has ever been introduced in this district.”—G. W. Luxford, Esq.. Wellington, N.Z. WILLI AMS and KETTLE, Limited, Agents.
The. Duchess of Marlborough lias opened a. private creche for prisoners’ children, who, with their mothers, often suffer severely during the “enforced absence” of their bread-”win-ners.” There is a priest in London from the Midi, France, and at a meeting •at St. Peter’s Hall, Hatton Garden, the rev. gentleman said that in the South of France wine was .now sold “by the half-hour.” On payment of a penny, you could go into a wine cellar and stay there for half anhotl. It is understood that an important contract has been given by a foreign Government to a North of England firm of shipbuilders for the construction of several battleships, cruisers and gunboats. It is stated that the total amount of the insurances connected with building and launching will he little short- of £7,000,000. Though no names are mentioned, it is supposed that Russia is the foreign Government, and is seeking to restore her fleet, which suffered so disastrously in-the war with Japan.
For Headache, Indigestion, Constipation, and Biliousness. The immense number of orders for Frootoids, sent by post direct to.the Pro prietor, *is convincing proof that the Public appreciate their splendid curing power over the above-named complaints. They are elegant,in appearance, pleasant to take, and, what., is of tho utmost importance, are thoroughly reliable in affording quick roli 'si.; Frootoids are immensely more valuable than an ordinary aperient, in so far that they not only- act as an aporier.t, but do remove from tho blood, tissues, and internal organs, waste poisonous matter.;; that is clogging them and choking)tho channels that lead to and from Ahem. The beneficial effects of Frootoids ' aro evident at once by the disappearance of headache, the head becoming clear, and l , a bright, cheery sense of perfect health taking the place of sluggish, dopressed feelings, by the liver acting properly, and by tho food being properly digested. Frootoids are she proper aperient medicine to take when any Congestion or Blood Poison is present, or when Congestion of the Brain or Apoplexy is present or threatening. They have been •tested, and have been proved to afford quick relief in such cases when other aperients have not dono any good at all. It is of the utmost importance that this should ho borne in mind, for in such cases to take an ordinary aperient is to waste.limo. and permit of a serious illness becoming fatal. Frootoids act splendidly on tho liver, quickly env- nrious attacks that j,■ worse. Frootoids have been subjected to extensive tests, and have in every case proved successful in completely curing the complaints named. The ordinary adult dose of Frootoids, of which there aro 72 in a bottle, is 2 to 4—more or less as required—takon, preferably at bedtinio, when constipated, or at the commencement of any other disease requiring an aperient, as an auxilliary with the special medicino necessary for the case. A constipated habit of body will be completely cured if the patient will on each occasion, when suffering, take a dose of Frootoids, instead of an ordinary aperient; making the interval between the taking of each dote longer and the dose smaller. The patient thus gradually becomes independent.of Aperient Medicines.
A HANDBILL JEt “DODGER” is a- very small article and a very common one. Citizens receive them every day, and a good many of them, further, rarely look at them, but make pipe-lights of them at once. Why is this ? The reason is easy to find. In nine cases out of ten the “dodger” is so badly printed and got up in such a rough manner that there is nothing about it to attract the eye. Our Work Is Striking. A “dodger” issued from our office will get three times the attention bestowed on one from any other house because Striking Type, High-Class Paper, and Good Printing. will compel the attention of all into whose hands the “dodger” comes. We do not carry on Job Printing for fun, and you may not get anything from us for nothing; but wo guarantee that when you pay our prices yqu are paying for good workmanship and material, and you oan rest assured you are getting them. “GISBORNE TIMES” Job Printing Works.
