FIVE WORKMEN KILLED,
United Press Association—Copyright (Received Dec. 25, 10.3 a.m.) A PARIS, Dee. 24. An inrush of compressed air through a partition of a caisson in the river tunnel which is being constructed in connection with the Paris metropolitan railway hurled the workmen into a cavity under a wall. Five were drowned.
