CROQUET.
At the Kaiti tennis courts on Saturday a croquet match was pleyed between teams representing the Whataupoko and Gisborne Tennis Clubb. The first two games wero started at 2 o’clock, and were not finished till 5 o’clock, thus onSy leaving sufficient time to go half round ill the remaining two games. Aitornoon tea was supplied by Misses DoLautour and M. AVadhsmann. hollowing are the results of the games: H St. Ledger and Mrs. A. S. Seymour (AY.) beat W T. Neil and Mrs. A. AV. Murray (G.), T. A. Coleman J Andcursou land Mrs. J. B. "Kells land Mrs. Carmichael (G.) beat AV. F. /■\V) Dr. E. B. Buckeridgo and Mrs. A AV. Rees (AV.) beat AV. L. Coleman and Miss Murray (G.), A. -G. Jeffries and Mrs. AV. Barker (AV.) beat A. W. S. Murray and Miss L. Coleman (G.).
