Mr Ramsay Macdonald, in an interview with the “Morning Post, says that Australia had no more intention of conceding Britain real preference than had - Germany. Hie Australian Labor Party’s failure in connection with the compulsory arbitration and wages board compelled them to gradually droii those aims and concentrate their attention oil land nationalisation and the national ownership and control of great industries like iron production and agricultural -implement-making.
