CHRISTMAS ENTERTAINMENT
The Christmas Tree and musical entertainment to be held in His Alajesty’s Theatre on Monday next is arousing much interest, and promises to far excel anything of its kind over held in the district-. A large quantity of toys and useful articles, and suitable gifts of fancy goods for elders hare been procured. The Festival is being arranged by the authorities-of Holy Trinity Sunday:' School, and the Sunday School held; in tlie KiitT-district school buildings; Parents and friends of the children; arc particularly asked to attend.' Gifts of/toys and suitable'articles will be very'welcome. ' Orders left with any local shopkeeper will be forwarded as .directed. . A splendid programme is- being arranged. Every person in tlie. Theatre will receive a ; gift. A small extra - charge will be' made'for 'admission''to'the dress circle; of the theatre; and-special arrangements will be made for presenting gifts to those in that part. Further particulars' will be announced later in the week. .
