Dr. Findlay presented the High Schooll prizes, and delivered an address to a crowded audience at the municipal ball. Ho spoke strongly of the absence of encouragement by the wealthy people of New Zealand to the educational system, ai d said that- it was their duty to eudow it with portion of their wealth, a.s was done by wealthy men elsewhere. Dr. Findlay expressed the opinion that nursing should be taught tlio girls in the schools. Dr. Findlay goes on to Danncvirko to-morrow.
