CLAIM FOR £4500 DAMAGES. Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dee. 13. iMr. Justice Button and a jury of twelve were engaged to-day hearing a cliini by George Scott, of Christchurch, against' King for £4500 for damages in respect of an alleged breach of agreement. The case arises out of a space dispute at the recent Exhibition, plaintiff alleging that lie was deprived of the space originally granted him, also that another agreement that lie was to have exclusive rights and privileges of selling confectionery and fruit at the Exhibition was violated. The defence is that there was no contract, and that. Scott broke the rules and regulations of the Exhibition. Later. The case of Scott v. King, arising out of the Christchurch Exhibition, was not finished when the Court rose.
