Ward, and. others unknown to blow up a building at Woo dawn, Ashtown’s Galway seat. Minnie Walsh wrote to Lord Ashtown, warning him of coming -danger, and after the late outrage •a,t Glenhiry Lodge she wrote that the •authors were Galway men. _ •Anony•mous letters alleged to be in Percy Walsh’s writing were produced. ‘Trench denied that he or Lord Ash>town prompted Mrs. Walsh’s lei ters. The hearing was adjourned. William o’ißrien and Timothy Healy strongly denounce cattle-driving. Seventeen were tried at Leinster for unlawful assembly. The iury disagreed. A jury a.t Minister assizes declined •to convict three prisoners for manslaughter. One was seen striking ibhe deceased, and all were identified.
