ENTERTAINMENTS.

COOK COUNTY CURIO U.S COONS. (bast night at tho Theatre there was a. full rehearsal of the programme to bo given by tho Coons on Friday evening next Tho success of tho performance is now assured, as the solos and choruses went with a vim that should satisfy the most fastidious. The jokes of the corner men, widen nro mostly local ones, should prove a great success, whilo their eccentric dances and comic turns generally must create no end of amusoment. Messrs AY. .D. Bruco and G. I’nilett nro mainly responsible for the fun of tho minstrelsy portion of the programme, which constitutes the first half, and Messrs Galloway (tenor), Trent (baritone), . and Uaurenson* (musical monologue) sustain tho greater portion of the second half. Mr. A. It. Don, conductor of tho orchestra, complimented the company on tho manner in which tho various items wore rendered. There will be two more full dress rehearsals on AVeduesday and Thursday evenings next, which should bring tho performance up to a high state of perfection. As all future performances will bo given for charity there will doubtless bo a packed house to witness tho first appearance of such a desorving company. The box plan at Miller’s is being filled in a most satisfactory manner. Tho full programme is published in our advertising columns.
