CHINESE IN WELLINGTON
FORM A PROTECTIVE ASSOCIATION. (Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 7. Chinamen in Wellington have formed ail Assoei ition for the protection of their interests in view of recent legislation connected with their admission to New Zealand and their status in the Dominion. One ot its objects is to take such legal steps as may be necessary to protect them from insults which they say _ have been extremely frequent in Well’iigton during 'the past six months.
