Goold was impassive on hearing the sentence of servitude for life, but his wife, gave vent to violent hysterics. protested her innocence, and collapsed. The general impression is shat the sentence will be commuted.
[Goold was sentenced to hard labor for life. The -wife (who committed, the murder, with Goold’s assistance) was sentenced to death.]
