W estport Coals wero sold at £7 16s, ■with, holders asking an additional Is at the close. Tho mining section was responsible for sales of Talisman. £- 13s 6d (closing: Buyers £2 13s, sellers £2 14s); Waihi £8 4s (buyers £8 4s. sellers £S os); Komata Reefs Is 9d, and Ngatiawa Is lOd. Bids for Union S.S. Co. were raised to £2O 2s 6d, but failed to elicit an offer.
