The following are visitors at the Masonic Hotel: —Mr. and Airs. Balfour, Aliss Balfour, Alessrs. It. D. Dr,mock, S. It. White. Constable AA r ales, of the local force,, has, received notice of lus transfer to Port Auanui. Constable Alellsoip, who‘is at present stationed there, proceeds south. , ■Sir Robert Stout, Chief Justice, leaves for Awanui to-morrow by the Haupiri. This morning Air. Dustin, father of Air. D. E. Dustin, arrives from South on a short business visit.
Mr. Cannon, injured at Toiaga some time ago, shows no change in his condition. Dr. Do Clive Lowe, of Auckland, will arrive to-day to make an examination of him by means of a Routgon ray apparatus.
Mr. Kyime, local manager for Alacky, Logan, Caldwell, and Co., •returns from Auckland bj; tho Zeaiandia to-day. Air. AA r . Aliller is a passenger from Auckland to-day by tho Zeaiandia.
