SUB-ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION. RESULTS SATISFACTORY. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 2. The northern members of the subAntarctic expedition arrived in Christchurch to-niglit. and are unanimously of opinion that the scientific results are very satisfactory. They took a large number of photos of tho island dealing with plant and animal life, also views of the islands, but it is feared that the adverse weather conditions which prevailed will considerably affect the plates, and that they will turn out badly. Dj\ Cockayne proceeds to >' ejlingtoiL to-morrow en route for Kapiti Island, where he will liberate the birds captured oh 'the southern islands.
