Rodicheff privately explained to Stolyipin that his remark was not intended to he personal. He hoped the House would believe in the sincerity of his regret. •M. Stolypin replied, “I forgive you.” At M. Homsakoff’s instance Rodicheff was excluded for a fortnight, only 9G of the Left opposing. [JI. Rodicheff, a member of the Cadet Party, declared that the hangman’s noose would henceforth be known as Sto'lypin’s neckerchief.] PROMISES OF SUPPORT. (Received Dec. 2, 11.18 p.m.) The whole House, including a majority of Cadets, cheered M. Stolypin during the sitting. The extreme Right promised to support the new regime and . respect the Douma.
