GISBORNE SHEEPFARMERS’ FROZEN MEAT CO., LTD. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual general meeting ot the above company was liekl at the offices of the company on Saturday morning. Mr. C. A. Do Lautour, chairman of directors, presided. Present: Messrs. John Clark, \A . It. Lysnar, K. Hall, C. Gray, C. J. Parker, V. ' Darker. E- 13. Barker, AV. It. Barker. E. Al. Hutchinson, and Mo rice. , The Chairman in his remarks said that lie wished to he as brief as possible ill dealing with the report and balance-sheet., but in deference to the rights of absent shareholders would have to give some statement of the company’s position. This year, continued the chairman, completed their fifth year. It was curious to note tire progress of the company during those five years. In 1902 their assets amounted to £27.788. made up of works that had just been purchased at a cost of £22,745. cash in hand £5048.
