THE BOOKMAKER QUESTION.
Press Association. FEILDING, Nov. 28. The Feilding Jockey Club held a lengthy meeting this afternoon, tho problem “ being the solution of the bookmakers’ difficulty. Ultimately it was resolved to license bookmakers under tho maximum fco of £2O per day and -restrictive conditions, which include quarantining of bookmakers with special enclosures set apart insido and outside tho course. A largo crowd of bookmakers are in Feilding for tho races to-morrow and Saturday, but no applications for licenses have yet been received under the new conditions.
