The s.'s. ’ Ivotare returned from the Cloast late on Tuesday, bringing 120 bales of wool. The Waikare arrived from South yesterday morning, and sailed for Auckland. The schooner Gisborne sailed yesterday morning for Whitiauga, from whence sho returns with timber for this port. The Manuka arrived from Auckland a.t 7 p.m. last night, and sailed for South at midnight. . The a.s. Kereru arrived last night from Auckland and Coast ports. Captain Brinck reports a very favorable trip right through. Auckland was left on the 20th fust., and the vessel worked no less than a coast ports on her way down, leaving Tolaga at 1 p.m. yesterday, and arriving here about 8.30 p.m.* Star cargo lor this port was small,, consisting of 22 tons coal and 130 cases of empty bottles. The Kereru discharged 15,000 ft of timber and lit) tons cf general cargo at the different coast ports. She sails again for the coast and Auckland on Saturday night. Hie ■•.-aiauer.'tine lima will complete discharging her coal cargo some time to-day, and after taking in ballast at the K-aiti wlrarr sails for the Thames to load timber for Sydney. The barque Empreza, which was due to sail yesterday for Whangurei, -was unable to do so owing to the head wind Ulcwing. Granted favorable conditions He leaves to-day. The N.Z. Shipping Oo.’s Turakina will load at this porit nex't monitili. Shipments per this vessel are timed to catch the March yiles in London.
