Peter Jackson, while chloroform was being administered at the hospital this forenoon, prior to an operation, two doctors being present, became very violent after the anaesthetic began to take effect, and suddenly collapsed, de-atli taking place immediately. . tttV VT 07 WANGANUI, Nov. 27. The body of an_ old man named Wm. Lewis, aged 72, who had been missing sinco Saturday last, was found in the river this afternoon.
