SYDNEY, Nov. 27. The thunderstorm yesterday was so severe that it interfered with telegraphic, telephonic, and tramway service; in all directions.

A tram car was struck by lightning in North Sydney, and rendered useless.

The foremast of the Union Company's steamer Oonah was struck as she was leaving the wharf. The truck was shattered, and the flag came fluttering down to the deck, but otherwise the vessel was undamaged. A tornado swept Collarendabri, and did damage to the extent of £IOOO. The storm lasted 20 minutes.
