Oil Saturday a team from the District High School fired in the competition for the Trafalgar medal, presented by Mr. J. Townley. The ranges were 100 yards, 200 yards, and 000 yards, the following being the best aggregates:—Bull 52, Grant 45, Ilice 37, Hawkins 28, Bulier 26, Sweet 21, Jones 18. Tho three highest scorers in each school will fire in tho finals. A. J. White, son of Mr. Cyril White, Gisborne, recently put U{> a good record at the sports held in fconncctiou with the Auckland College. He won tho College championship, carrying with it tho Governor’s challenge cup, by winning tlie 440yds race for boys under fifteen, the 100yds scratch race, and the high jump (4ft lOin), scoring 21 points out of a possible 25.
