Messrs Hamon and Smith call tenders for the formation and levelling of roads on Halstead township, Mangapapa. Among properties for sale by Mr. W. Lissant Clayton are 26i acres close to town at £3O; one acre building site Russell street, £400; 10 acres Mangapapa, with new house and sheds, £650; half an. acre and 7-room-ed residence near Riverside road and Russell street, £BOO. Common Shelton and Co. Ltd., and Dalgety and Co, Ltd., have to date recived an entry of 200 hoggets and 50 head of cattle for Thursday’s salo at Matawhero. Further entries are invited. ' There is a vacancy on a station near town for a domestic help'. Mr. W. Lissant Clayton has for salo 1000 to 1500 wether lambs, 1000 2tooth wethers, 1400, 2-4-6-and,B-tooth ewes, and 1400 lambs. Prices are advertised. An apprentice for the engineering trade is wanted. Nelson Moato and Co’s teas are advertised. Messrs Peckover and Co. have improved freehold properties of 640 acres and 320 acres in the Motu district for salo. A property of 6500 acres of partly improved country, part freehold and part leasehold, is for sale by Mr. IV. Lissant Clayton for £7,000 cash. Mesrs Malcolm and Co. advertise a pledge salo for Friday next, and a salo of Mrs. White’s furniture for one day this week.
