Messrs and Craig report the following prices at Saturday’s sale: — Hens 2s to 2s 2d, roosters 2s to 2s 6d, chickens Is sd, ducklings Is Id, clucks 2s to 2s 2d, eggs Is and Is Id, peas Is 6d per peek, new potatoes 2RI per lb, onions lid and 2d per lb, spring onions 6tl per bundle, gooseberries 3d per lb, rhubarb 7d per bundlo, cabbage plants 3d per bundle, cabbages Is 6d to 2s 6d doz, cauliflowers 5s 3d doz, walnuts 3d per lb, butter 10(1 per lb, maize (2nds) 8s 6d sack. Furniture and sundries realised satisfactory prices. The o ntry at tlio Lowc-strect Horse Bazaar on Saturday was confined to hacks. Best sorts mndo £lO to £l4, light and inferior £2 10s to £7. Messrs l‘\ S. Malcolm and Co. report very largo entries in poultry and produco for Saturday’s sale. Evory lino was cleared at satisfactory prices. Table birds brought from Is lOd to 2s 6d, Orpingtons 4s 6d, ducks 2s 3d', onions lid, cabbages Is to 7s doz,cauliflowers 11s doz, tomato plants 9s doz, assorted bedding out plants 6s doz bundles, new potatoes 2d to 21d Donvents and Up-to-Dates 14s to 18s sack, gooseberries 22d quart, lemons 6d doz, butter 8(1 to 10(1 per lb, eggs Is doz, settings of Orpingtons 2s 4d. Furniture, boots, and sundries as advertised, followed, when every lot, (about 350) was disposed of.
