OBJECTS TO STATE SOCIALISM. BUT FAVORS OLD AGE PENSIONS SCHEME.

Lord Cromer, in discussing social problems and distinguishing reasonable State aid from objectionable State socialism, expressed tlio hopo that Government would devise an old pension scheme based mainly on individual effort with a moderate amount of State aid.
