7j MILLIONS INCREASED EXPENDITURE.

The German Budget, for 1908 shows 7-1 millions sterling increase, which includes three millions for the navy, nearly three millions for the army, and. nearly a million for the colonies. Count Bulow purposes to raise 13 millions by means of credit operations to meet non-recurring extraordinary expenditure, also to issue bonds as the need arises not exceeding 171 millions. In order to strengthen extraordinary resources and reserves the Right propose new taxation.
