Ann Pitcher, at the age of 79. She was a. resident of 24 years’ duration in the Bay, having resided at Alakanaka, and latterly at Te Karaka. Airs. Pitcher had been jiart!ally aftn .in.vulad as tho result of •an accident fourteen or fifteen years ■ago. Holy end was not unexpected, as she had passed the last three mionths of heir allotted span in hospital. Deceased leaves, a number of relatives and connections in .the district, who have arranged .a private internment to-dlay.
