It is understood that the Kings came to Sydney for the purpose of the wife, who had an old standing complaint, entering a private hospital.

Failing any clue it is now suggested as a possible solution of tlie mystery that this trouble and the attendant expense was preying on their minds and led to the tragedy. Early in the day Mrs. King liad arranged to meet her sister, anil when found dead was fully dressed in her goingout clothes. [A Cowra solicitor named Lister King administered poison to and shot his wife, afterwards committing suicide. The affair happened at the Metropole hotel, Sydney.]
