The scow Ganne-t, with 74,000 ft of timber for Messrs. Peacoeke and Co., arrived on Saturday night. She left Op an, Bay of Islands, on November sth, avith a favorable wind, which unfortunately did not last long, as ,a head wind sprang up, and she put into Auckland,, where she was detained for almost "a week. She left Auckland, again on Tuesday, Kill November, and had a good run down the coast, arriving alongside the wharf at 12 o’clock midnight on Saturday. The Ruru arrived from Napier early ..on Saturday morning, and after discharging a number of sheep and some .general cargo sailed again for Napier at 3 p.m. The Hanpiri arrived at 3 a.m. on Saturday morning, from the Coast, and transhipped 1200 bales of wool from different ports to tho 'Whakarua.
The Zeaiandia .arrived from South on Saturday morning and sailed for Auckland la-tor. “
The Waikare arrived before -noon yesterday from Auckland, and sailed south in the evening.
The U.S.G. Co. ’3 Squall is expected to arrive from Auckland and coast ports this morning. The s.s. Whalcarua completed loading on Saturday .afternoon, and sailed south about 5.45 pita. She took a large quantity of wool from this .port/and leaves Wellington for London on the 24th inst.
The barquen.tine Emnreza arrived in the bay on Saturday rd d-t, and got alongside the wharf on yenterday afternoon’s tide. Her car.;':: consisted of 18] ,875 ft of rirnu, consigned .to Messrs. H. T. Peacoeke and Co. Tho skipper reports afa vorable passage right through. Leaving Kaipar-a on the Sth November, a fresh. N.E. breeze prevailed, changing shortly to the IV. and N.W., with which she made a good run right down to East Cape. From this point light and variable winds were experienced until she arrived at this port, when a strong westerly wind was blowing. The Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ s.s. Kotnro will load on Wednesday, weather permitting, for Tolaga Bay and Tokomaru -Bay. The Frank Gn.v is c xpected to sail for Westport to-day.
