SYDNEY, November 10. Tho Stockton, New Lambton, Waratah, and Sbortland Miners’ Lodges adopted the strike ultimatum. The Premier has suggested to both sides of the coal trouble that matters in dispute should be submitted to an independant tribunal, and be bound by its decision, that in the meantime the miners should withdraw the notification to cease work on Tuesday, and that the mines re cently closed be reopened and worked, until the dispute is settled, on the conditions existing before tlie dispute arose. The Premier is sanguine that peaceful methods will prevail. His suggestion is likely to be considered by both sides to-morrow.
