Mr. Morley, in reply to Mr. Joseph Collinson, secretary of tho Indian Humanitarian Committee, urging him to remit the Hogging sentences on native Indian youths for political offences at Calcutta, declined to take any exceptional action regarding sentences of the courts of law.
