SACRED CONCERT.

To-morrow . evening tho Napier Dramatic Students will give a sacred concert in aid of the funds of the Gisborne Hospital. Among tho contributors to tho program o will be Aliss Adelo. King, who secured tlio gold medal at tho New Zealand Exhibition, as a mezzo-so-prano, and Airs Buckeridge.

Tho Napier Dramatic Students arrivo this morning, and will stage “Caste” at His Atajestv’s Theatre this evening. Enough lias been said to show that a performance much above tho ordinary amateur standard may be looked for. A reminder. is given that but one performance of the comedy can be given hero.

“THE TICKET-OF-LEAVE MAN.” Great interest is being .taken- locally in the production of "The Ticket-of-Leave Man” at His Majesty’s Theatre on Monday evening. The Rice Dramatic Co. have gained repeated .successes in Gisborne, da ml “The Ticket-of-Leave Man” promises to bo the most effective piece yet staged by the company. The box plan may be soeii at Miller’s. 'BARRABA BUCK JUMPERS. This combination will- appear tills evening, when a varied programme will be presented. Lady riders are to take part, and a number of “turns” should provide plenty of fun and excitement. Another outlawwilt lie -brought into the ring, and £2 is offered to any local rider who :-an stay aboard for 30 seconds.. The Buckjumpers have resumed their old ocation, opposite Mr. Hill’s, and iuend showing each Saturday.
