DAIRY SCHOOL.

Press Association. PALMERSTON NTH., Nov. 5. In connection with the proposed dairy school, the special Act making .an offer of 50 acres ‘reserve by the Palmerston North Borough Council as a site lapsed by effluxion of time on October 26. -At tho request of the Chamber of Commerce the Council to-night decided to renew the offer for two years without conditions, thus enabling the Minister to use it ■as an endowment if lio decides in Palmerston. The A. and P. Association also offer a site. The Borough Council has appointed Mr. W. W. Smith, who designed the much admired Ashburton Domain, to the charge of its ‘reserves.
