The Whataupoko'Wood Yard (Messrs Ha.vnon and Smith, agents) is prepared to supply first-class firewood cut to any length, also Westport. Newcastle. and Tauniri coals. Prompt delivery is guaranteed, A saddle and harness pony is for solo by Mr. Campbell Thomson. Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. will hold a sale of furniture at The Mart, Lowe Street, on Friday at 1.30. On Saturday, in addition to the poultry and produce sale at 11 o’clock, a quantity of furniture will be disposed of at noon.
Mr. F. B. Ovenden, of Patutalii. lias for sale 40 colonies of bees and a quantity of beekeepers’ accessories. Mr. C. G. Bloore has buyers for town properties of all descriptions, and sellers arc requested to send him details at once. A number of vacancies for teachers are advertised by the Hawke’s Bay Education Board. '■Tenders are invited until November 29th for the erection of a road bridge over the Wairoa river at Frasertown, Hawke’s Bay.
A gardener, with experience in spraying is wanted. A reward is offered for a walking stick lost yesterday.
