Victor Johnson, married, but with no fUmily, (lied in the hospital this ■mornias the result of an accident in tho Westnort Coal Company’s mine at Dennlston on Thursday. He was about to prop up a roof when a stono came away and badly crushed ilim ‘ WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. ilr. Harry Drummontl, wlio injured himself internally by. a colhwon whilst olavlng cricket with tho Roys Institute Club, of which he was president. died ill a private hospital vesterday. Deceased was about J2 'years of ago. and lias left a widow and child. For some years lie had ■favicon an interest in philanthropic work, particularly of the Institute, and was very popular.
