SITUATION IN INDIA.
United Press Association —Copyright BOMBAY, October 31. The Government of Bengal have warned the Government of India that the situation might easily become very serious. There would be grave trouble if the example of respectable people like the. recent rioters who were incited by agitators is imitated by naturally turbulent classes. The Lieut .-Governor thinks it imperative the Government should take power to stop violent speaking and writing designed to bring constituted authority into contempt and to encourage resistance to the police.
