Drunkenness. —Henry Dennet (alias Topping), wlio had been convicted of a similar offence during tilio past six 'months, was fined £l, with costs 9a. Riding Bicycles on the Footpaths. —Philip Hamilton was fined 10s, costs 7s, 'and 'Won. Sheppoy Lunn (twice previously convicted) £l, costs Breach of Prohibition Order. — Henry Dennet was fined £5 for hiving procured liquor diming the currency of a prohibition order. Sergeant Williams said accused had been convicted of a similar offence in February last. Riding Bicycle Without Lights.— Wm. Slieppey Lunn pleaded not guilty to a charge of riding a bicycle after dark without a light. He was fined 10s, costs 7s. Trespassing Wliilp Drunk.—Henry Donnot was fined 10s, with costs 7s, for refusing to leave the Poverty Bay Club when requested. A Gross Act.—Peter McDermott was fined £3, • costs 7s, for having unduly exhibited a stallion at a racecourse. Air. T. Alston Coleman, who appeared for defendant, said his client was unaware that lie was breaking the law. Sergeant Williams said the spot where tho affair happened was frequented by ladies. Damaging Property.—Henry Derrick was fined 10s, with costs 2s, and was ordered to nay cost of damage (10s) for breaking a pane of glass, the property of tho Government.
